Operation
The McCloskey I54 has been designed to be the most productive horizontal impact crusher in the under-50-tonne class. This machine is built around an impressive 1.200 mm x 1.335 mm impact chamber. As a result, it is ideally suited for processing a wide range of materials.
The machine is equipped with a double-deck pre-screen, which separates fine material before it reaches the crushing chamber. This increases efficiency and reduced the load on the impactor. The hydraulically folding hopper and conveyor belts ensure a quick start-up and minimal downtime on site.
Crushed materials are discharged from the crushing chamber into a large 1354 mm x 4615 mm feed pan. This feed pan is larger and has a steeper slope than comparable systems, allowing material to be processed quickly in high tonnage applications. This prevents damage to the conveyor belt.
Thanks to its robust construction, open chassis design and easy access for maintenance, the I54 is exceptionally user-friendly and easy to maintain. This machine is ideal for applications such as asphalt recycling, concrete recycling, natural stone crushing, and construction and demolition waste.
